Website Renewal
Welcome to BUCF’s new-look blog and website! It won’t have passed you by this morning that bucf.wordpress.com is now sporting a revised and updated layout and format, and now seems a good time to let you in on what the committee have got in mind for BUCF’s online services in the coming year.
Lots has already been going on behind the scenes since the last AGM to streamline and improve the way BUCF manages its services, and the updates you can see today are the first visible stage of these changes. In addition to a smart, updated look for the site, we will be aiming to bring together all the strands of BUCF’s online presence in one place; right here.
Our award-winning blog won’t be going anywhere, and will continue to provide insightful analysis from our team of authors. In addition to this, we are pleased to announce the BUCF twitter feed has been revived at @BirminghamUniCF, offering a fantastic way to get in touch with the committee quickly and easily, as well as keeping you up to date with what we’re up to.
Our merchandise store; unique among CF branches, is still going strong, and we’ll be adding a range of new products in time for the new year. We’ve also placed a link straight into the store from the homepage of this site to keep everything together.
Underpinning all of these changes is a complete overhaul to the way we handle email communication in BUCF, so that however you decide to contact us, you should be assured of a quick response from the committee.
The final stage of our changes will be to bring together both parts of our website, old and new, to give you all the information you need on BUCF structure, history, committee, news and events in one place, alongside the blog and online shop at www.bucf.co.uk, creating a new home for the society on the web.
We’re excited about the changes and how they will improve the way we do things online. If you have any feedback at all on what you’ve seen so far or what we’ve got planned, just leave a comment on this post. We look forward to hearing what you think!
