Welcome to Birmingham University Conservative Future

Campaigning in Edgbaston for the 2015 General Election

We are the University of Birmingham’s branch of Conservative Future, the largest political youth organisation in the UK.

At Birmingham University Conservative Future, we aim to create a platform where centre-right politics can be discussed amongst like-mined people. In the last academic year, we were heavily involved campaigning for local candidates at both the local level and at the parliamentary level. Through this, our members have met several senior politicians  such as the Prime Minister, the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Iain Duncan Smith, William Hague and Andrew Mitchell. Throughout the next academic year we will continue to campaign for local candidates for the upcoming local council elections in 2016.

We also hold informal drink nights, debates against other political societies, host guest speakers such as politicians and journalists, trips to Parliament, and attend conferences run by influential think-tanks.

Whether you enjoy campaigning and debating or just a small drinks night, BUCF can offer you friends and brilliant memories during your time at Birmingham.

President 2015-2016
